The Sacramento Valley Soil Hub provides a platform for RCDs to collectively advocate for funding programs that support our farmers and ranchers

Sacramento Valley RCD leaders participate in a policy workgroup with other RCDs around the state, our partners at the Carbon Cycle Institute, California Association of RCDs, and the Climate Center to advocate for programs and regional funding opportunities that meet the needs of California RCDs and leaders.

RCD staff and leadership along with feedback from farmers and ranchers, partner input, and on-the-ground observations inform the basis of our advocacy work. We use this information to develop and support policies that help conserve our natural and working lands.
